Have you visited Hinckley Museum yet?
Hinckley & District museum was founded in the mid 1990′s and is staffed totally volunteers who give their time every weekend between April and October. The Hinckley area has a very rich history and the museum reflects that. The museum on Lower Bond Street in the Framework Knitter Cottages opposite the Atkins building is the ideal setting to exhibit all aspects of the towns heritage. But amazing still many of the local townsfolk have still not visited the museum since it opened over 20 years ago. So remember to call in any weekend between April and October, enjoy the exhibits and enjoy the super tea rooms in one of the oldest buildings in the town. The friendly staff are on hand to assist with any questions you may have. If you become a friend of the museum you can visit as many times as you wish and also attend their very informative monthly talks. A warm welcome awaits you.
